Rome Recap

While walking through a random park, I got my first glimpse of the Colosseum.

The  best view of Piazza Venezia was from the top of Il Vittoriano.

Nero’s Tower made it easy to find the Trajan Market.

The Spanish Steps near sunset were quite crowded.

In Pompeii, directions were usually images chiseled into the stone.

Like the town, most of my pictures of Pompeii were lost.

When you find the Boys’ Club of “48, the Fontane delle Tartarughe, or a sculpture with feet of ordnance, you have found the Jewish Ghetto.

Even in the rain, Villa Borghese was majestic.

My only souvenir from Rome is that silly orange poncho.
